During her time at Vanderbilt, she earned her master's degree and practiced as an Adult Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified (ANP-BC) where she established herself as a trusted provider in the field of gastroenterology.
Sherry's professional focus lies in liver disease, encompassing conditions such as cirrhosis, autoimmune hepatitis (AIH), primary biliary cholangitis (PBC), primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), as well as the treatment of hepatitis B (HBV) and hepatitis C (HCV). Her commitment to staying informed of the latest advancements in healthcare is evident through her membership in the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Throughout her extensive career, Sherry has garnered invaluable experience, emerging as a respected figure in the fields of digestive and liver health.
Beyond her professional commitments, Sherry treasures moments spent with family, taking special pride in cheering on her grandchildren during their sports activities. Additionally, Sherry is actively involved in her community, dedicating her Wednesday nights to teaching 4-year-olds at her church.
